Sir Thomas Rich’s School is celebrating record GCSE results, with 57% of all entries achieving grades 8 and 9, and over three-quarters of grades (78%) at grade 7 and above. These are amongst our best ever results at GCSE. Matthew Lynch, Headteacher of Sir Thomas Rich’s, said: “These are an exceptional set of results. We could not be more proud of our students, whose hard work and dedication to their learning has been highly rewarded. These results are also a testament to the outstanding teaching at Sir Thomas Rich’s, which has encouraged our students to work independently, to think critically and creatively and to develop their resilience and intellectual curiosity. Most importantly, our pupils have achieved personal results that will have such a positive impact on their futures. My best wishes go to all pupils as they begin the next stage of their academic career.”
