In February 2025, the School brought the house down with its spectacular whole-school production of We Will Rock You. Performed over three nights to packed audiences, the show celebrated the timeless music of Queen while showcasing the extraordinary talent and dedication of the pupils.
From the powerful vocals in “Somebody to Love” to the electrifying ensemble performances of “We Will Rock You” and “Bohemian Rhapsody,” pupils stunned audiences with their energy, creativity and professionalism. The cast and crew—drawn from across year groups—worked tirelessly for months, supported by staff in music, drama, staging, and technical production.
The Headteacher praised the production as “a fantastic example of what makes the School so special—pupils coming together, giving their best, and producing something unforgettable.” Parents, and the wider community agreed, with many describing the event as one of the best shows staged in recent years.
This success was also made possible thanks to contributions to the School Development Fund, which helped cover the vital costs of costumes, performance licences, staging, and technical equipment. Without this generosity, opportunities of this scale and quality simply would not be possible.
The production was more than just a musical; it was a celebration of teamwork, resilience and passion for the arts. Pupils not only performed but also helped with set design, lighting, costumes, and stage management, gaining invaluable experience in all aspects of theatre.
Your continued support of the School Development Fund ensures future productions, concerts, and enrichment opportunities for all our pupils—helping them discover their talents, build confidence, and create memories that last a lifetime.
