Huge congratulations to our U12, U13 and U15 cricket teams on winning their respective County Cup competitions this year. The U12s defeated The Crypt School by 72 runs, while the U13s beat Marling School by 9 wickets. The U15s also enjoyed a convincing victory, defeating Newent School by 91 runs to secure their County Cup title. Our U14s play Cheltenham College in the County Cup Final in September and we wish them every success.
Congratulations also to our U15s, who reached the semi-finals of the inaugural Barclays Knights Stokes Cup in July at Headingley. Although they narrowly missed out on a place in the final at Lord's, they can be incredibly proud of their achievement after losing by just 42 runs to Altrincham Grammar School. The competition attracted more than 1,100 boys' and girls' teams from over 800 secondary schools across the UK and Ireland in its debut season.
