We celebrated an incredible annual Sports Evening at the end of the Summer Term, marking the conclusion of this year’s House competition. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful support from parents and families who joined us; the crowd lining the track and field events was bigger than ever, and the House-coloured flags and homemade banners created a fantastic atmosphere of competition, pride and camaraderie.

Congratulations to Southgate House, who were crowned winners of the Athletics Cup. The final results were:

• 1st – Southgate
• 2nd – Northgate
• 3rd – Westgate
• 4th – Newgate
• 5th – Eastgate

Well done to every pupil who represented their House, as well as to all those who encouraged and supported their peers throughout the evening, and those raising money for charity on stalls. The enthusiasm, teamwork and positive spirit shown by all pupils made the event a great success.

We would also like to extend our thanks to our PTFA for their incredible efforts in running the bar and BBQ - raising money for the school which helps to fund our sporting activities, amongst many other things! 

For those alumni wondering, Newgate House was added to the Rich's House line-up just a few years ago, to accommodate our five-form intake. Despite being the youngest House, Newgate pupils take part in House competitions and events with an incredible amount of pride, determination and enthusiasm! Newgate House’s colour is royal purple, and comprises all the ‘C’ forms, 7C-11C.
