Westgate pupils have enjoyed an outstanding period of sporting success, securing both the House Tennis and House Swimming titles in the Summer Term, in two closely contested competitions.
House Tennis, which began after Easter, concluded this week following a busy programme of fixtures and competitions. Westgate produced an ace performance to finish top of the standings, ahead of Eastgate and Newgate in joint second place, with Northgate and Southgate sharing fourth position. Congratulations go to all pupils who represented their Houses so enthusiastically throughout the tournament.
The House Swimming competition proved equally exciting, with Westgate edging out Northgate by a single point to claim the trophy. Pupils from Years 7-10 competed across a range of individual events and relays, delivering a fantastic afternoon of competitive swimming and House spirit.
