Some of our Year 12 students took part in the Ten Tors Challenge in May, walking 45+ miles across the northern half of Dartmoor, visiting 10 nominated tors/checkpoints in under two days, and carrying all they needed to complete their route and stay out overnight safely. The event is organised by the Army’s Headquarters South West, with support from the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force as well as civilian emergency services and volunteers. This is our second year taking part, and the students were a credit to the School, working well as a team and keeping cheerful and determined throughout.
