Year 9 pupils took part in a thoroughly enjoyable Enterprise Day in July, hosted by former The Apprentice candidate Adam Corbally. Working in teams of six, students developed an original business idea before creating its branding and marketing materials. Throughout the day, they were ably supported by A Level Business students, who provided guidance and feedback as the projects developed.

In the afternoon, each team presented their business idea to a panel of four judges. After considering the quality of the ideas, presentations and overall business concepts, the judges selected an overall winning team.

The winning team, Branch, developed an app designed to encourage people to take up new hobbies and try new activities by making personal development more accessible and engaging. A huge well done to the members of the winning team: Connor M, Alex M, Kristian M, Josh M and Marat M, and congratulations to all Year 9 students for their enthusiasm, teamwork and creativity throughout the day.
